On Saturday evening, Jasmine Davis, 27, was involved in a fatal accident when the 2007 Toyota Yaris she was driving was collided in to by a Freightliner Tractor-Trailer at the intersection of Lowndes County 17 and U.S. Highway 80.Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of the deceased.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Corporal Jesse Thornton continues to investigate the Saturday collision but did provide that Davis was not wearing her seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries as a result of the motor vehicle collision.
